Things Happening in April

We decided to list our home in December and found out on April 2 that our closing date was May 5.  It was my spring break, so I spent the entire week packing and looking for a place to store our things in St. George.  My mom and dad were still in St. George, so they came over to help me.  Dad was a great box taper and Mom got to pack all my dishes.  We were selling our home on Opal Way completely furnished so all I had to pack were personal belongings.  It still took the entire week to pack everything.  We rented a U-Haul and loaded up everything on Saturday.  It was an exhausting weekend, but we were able to get everything out and everything cleaned up--with Eric and Eliza's great help, of course.

On Saturday, April 28, Eliza, Eric, Donn and I went on a really fun hike at Goldstrike Canyon.  While driving into the parking area we saw four bighorn sheep.  It was a family with a small baby.  He/she was so cute.

After hike for a couple of hours we come to a couple of hot springs.  They were so warm we all stuck our feet in.  This hike was amazing as there were ropes to help you up and down rocky areas. I was exhausted by the time we were finished, but a quick trip to Carlito's Burritos and to Sonic for a root beer freeze did the trick.  Donn and I came home and spent an hour in the jacuzzi.  All in all it was a really great day.

Eric had his swimsuit and enjoyed the HOT crystal clear water.  The only thing we were missing was one of my famous fruit smoothies.
