The desserts held us over while we meandered through the Temple Street Market and the Electronics District. Hong Kong is more westernized than Mainland China so we had many English speakers to help out. Our dinner for the evening was at a place called Ebeneezer's. It was a hole in the wall with yummy food and long lines. I had chicken curry and the men ordered pizza and gyros.
Day 2: We were scheduled for an 9 a.m. temple session on Saturday morning. The Hong Kong Temple is five stories high. It is so beautiful.

Day 3: A trip to The Peak that looks over the entire island. It was a rainy and windy day. The hike up was quite strenuous so we decided to take the tram ride down.
After reaching the bottom, we took a double-decker tour bus to the other side of the Hong Kong Island to go check out Stanley Market. We didn't buy anything at the market but an umbrella because by this time it was pouring. We also found a yummy restaurant to stop at for some green beans and pork, and some sweet pork dim sum. Yummy!!
For dinner it was a trip back to Temple Street and a restaurant called Our Restaurant. The food was amazing. Then for dessert we stopped at a place for shaved mango ice. Even though we shared, and it was quite large, I think we could have each eaten our own it was so delicious.
Sorry about all the food pics, but we did enjoy the culinary adventures in Hong Kong.
